Hello Baren!

I am glad to be a part of an exciting and active printmaking community
such as Baren. I have recently graduated from the University of Cincinnati
(Ohio) with an MFA in Printmaking and I am currently teaching part-time at
Eastern Kentucky University (Richmond). I look forward to good discussions
with others who are passionate about the medium and to the wonderful
Exchanges.

Welcome Burt,
Introduction from another member--
I did my MFA at U Kansas and other Lazansky related work at Iowa.
I found the midwest to be a haven of printmaking.
First generation from Eire and now in Mexico, the block printers have rich
history from there to here.
My best,
Mary Ann

Hi Janet,
Here is the reason for the title "Too Advanced for Connecticut":

When a Connecticut museum curator saw and admired my work he said it is
"Too Advanced for Connecticut."

Slide/lecture went very well. Sorry you couldn't make it.

Best to you
Carol
